Resource Centre - Information Service

The DrugInfo resource centre is a comprehensive alcohol and other drug (AOD) library and information service for professionals, students, researchers and general workers in alcohol and drug related work settings.

The centre's services include:

  • a free information service via phone and email
  • free resources on alcohol and drugs
  • a specialised library collection on alcohol and other drugs.

Our library collection

The collection includes books, reports, journals and audiovisual material with an emphasis on online resources. It focuses on the psychosocial issues relating to drug and alcohol use and covers topics such as:

  • policy
  • statistics
  • treatment approaches
  • health promotion
  • workplace and driving
  • young people
  • social and cultural issues.

How we can help you

Staff can assist in answering information requests and guiding you to relevant resources to support your professional needs.

Additional services are available to library members only, but all members of the public, including tertiary students in other disciplines, are welcome to access material through the online catalogue. Our library collection is also available through interlibrary loan.
