Multicultural service directory
Victorian multicultural alcohol and other drug (AOD) service directory
Key to using the directory
The Victorian Multicultural AOD Service Directory is organised into three searchable categories –
by language/cultural group
,
by service type
and
by location
.
Each service is listed with contact details, service area information and details about the types of services that are provided. The
NESB component
of each entry describes which part or parts of the service specifically cater to clients or communities from non-English speaking backgrounds (NESB). This may include bilingual workers, the use of translated materials, CLD-specific projects, regular use of interpreters, and so on.
About the multicultural service directory
Services listed by language/cultural groups
Language/cultural group categories are mostly those nominated by services themselves. Categories include specific languages (e.g.
Oromo
,
Korean
, etc.) as well as more general cultural groups (e.g.
Jewish
,
Pacific Islander
).
