Working together with alcohol and drug issues in culturally and linguistically diverse communities
This 2008 Turning Point course aims to increase the AOD (alcohol and other drug) knowledge and skills of key members within CLD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities to better equip them to deal with the AOD issues within their community. Also to increase the understanding of AOD workers and agencies in relation to improving access to members of the CLD communities.
Drugs and their effects brochures
The Australian Drug Foundation's Drugs and their effects brochure is now available in nine community languages to assist recent migrants from African and Asian countries. Limited quatities of the translated brochures are available free of charge for community organisations within Australia using the order form.
